oh hell yeah...i hope it looks like that... you can still see the original there, but with a modern update. love that front fascia for some reason.
i dont think they will go n/a v12, because realistically they arent going to get more than 750-850hp out of a smooth comfortable driving n/a v12 (that was an original F1 design goal, to be smooth easy daily drivable)...and if they really want to eclipse all the other top hypercars out there, (meaning they need to beat them on the track, the mile, and top speed) then they will need more power than that. im guessing twin turbo v12.
but who knows... maybe they just do an n/a v12 with 750-800ish, and keep the body SUPER light, under 3k lbs. that would do it

You guys are hopeless. If this render came out with some unheard of, one off car maker making an attempt in the super car world you would all go on about how ugly it is. The fact that it has McLaren stamped on it and is said to be the successor all of the sudden makes it look so awesome. 
Face it, that thing looks awful and I can only pray that whatever the final product is looks anything better than this.
