Top Gear MP4-12C Review
Top Gear's new Review of the McLaren MP4-12C, which they compare against the Ferrari 458 Italia:

I am not that shocked the McLaren was faster around that particular track than the F458, it was to be expected. Anyway I really find the McLaren to be a fantastic car and love the interior shots in this review. I may prefer the Ferrari any day of the week, but still have to admit this is a great car!

I'm surprised as initial reviews we sort of negative. This car seems awesome. It doesn't have that carnal excitement of a ferrari or lambo - but it looked damn composed on that test track and eclipsing the veyron SS is quite an accomplishment. Well done McLaren.

Considering it's been set up to rip around the Top Gear track since day 1, I'm not at all surprised by the result. I'm still wondering if this car is really all it's hyped up to be. Seems like the Fezza is still the car to get.

The car hasn't even been launched yet. I'm fairly sure we will see things change when it comes to being released, like the TC.

And considering they used the TG track for testing, this time does not surprise me, but I don't doubt it is ridiculously fast.

After seeing this car in person at the launch here in Philly i must say that from a looks standpoint it isnt nearly as "tame" as he makes it sound. The car looked AWESOME and the interior was insane. That being said --- it really didnt excite me and if i were in a position to drop that kinda cheese on a car id go Ferrari fo sho

Great review, very impressed at the time it put up, but it's the same review other have been saying about the new Mclaren.

seriously, the mclaren is such a boring car. the fifth gear review was far better. If you want a car that does exactly what YOU want (drivers car) and a car which is awesome fun and fast, go for the 458. If you want a computer that tells you how to drive it, go for the mclaren.

btw... isn't there a manettino setting in the f458 which is all about fast laps like the mclaren? chris harris shows it in one of his reviews.
