Everyone seems to forget just who was behind the making of this car and their history. After talking with the main designer of the car and just the little things they went through during the whole project(and some details on what is up and coming on the.....) is just amazing. This car is going to be an astounding piece of machinery.

Mark my words, Mclaren is going to stomp on the road going competition.

 

5 seconds is an eternity

 

that's what I'm saying. Humongous time stretch over a 458...It would be awesome, someone to beat Ferrari at the mid engine car game would be world news for sure

Great time if it is true though.

 

Thats more than 6% quicker. I dont question it being faster than a 458, but it seems like too great of a gap. Also, the fact that its a dealer who's claiming these times has my eyebrows twitching

 

around a long track like the Ring it would make sense, but the top gear track is very short, 5 seconds is an incredible amount of time...

 

Well Mclaren + Top Gear will never confirm it until after their Mclaren episode next season. We will have to wait and see.

 

I'll be waiting for this episode to air, hopefully in a few short weeks.
