Mclaren F1 chassis no.21

Don't trust every online advertisement you see for the F1. Many times the same car is offered through multiple brokers and info is either vague or completely false.

Looking forward to it - thanks.
The F1 has a rubber fuel bladder in the area of the chassis directly behind the driver's seat and between the two passenger seats. They are supposed to be replaced every 10 years as the rubber has a tendency to degrade over time. It is possible if the car has been sitting longer that the bladder may be allowing some fuel to seep out causing the smell.
There were two other F1s in Singapore - one was there from 2004 to 2008 and the other was there about half that time, also leaving in 2008. The first one made a single appearance at the "Dreamcars Asia" show in 2005 and the other car appeared at the "Torque Supercar Showcase" in 2007. The rest of the time they spent in storage or on display at Automobile Manufactur/Auto Kultur in Changi. Neither one was ever registered and I'm not sure if either was ever driven on the street. I have been led to believe that the limitation has more to do with the ~140% import tariff that would have to be paid to register the car, not that the central driving position would create any hurdles.
