Just got back from the launch at McLaren where I was able to see the MP4-12C in more detail, take a sit in it, see the fit and finish etc... It was a nice evening, with some stunning cars on display. My particular highlight was the McLaren F1 LM (pics below). This is the exact car that has been promised to Lewis Hamilton once he's won three World Championships - lucky boy (McLaren value it at £8m GBP).

Back to the MP4-12C though - fit, finish, materials etc were sublime - very impressed. Wasn't a big fan of the Volcano Orange colour, but it is a pretty car in the flesh - though smaller than I expected. Sorry about quality of pics, but 'proper' cameras were not allowed.

Great shots. I dislike the gauges on the new MP4-12C very much, reminds me of an RX-8.

Did you happen to see the Azure Blue 12C being finished up in the assembly area? I think that is the color I would choose from their assortment and I'm eager to see more images of it.
