i dunno i dnt really like the mp4-12c, beautifully engineered but for a 600hp car 0-100km/h in 3.8? lp560, 458, and the new Porsche turbo all beat it? strange performance figures for someone who called Bugatti a piece of trash.

Not sure where you've gotten that figure from as no third party has yet been able to test the 12C. These are the performance projections released so far by McLaren:

I suspect in true McLaren fashion that they won't miss their marks.

Not sure where WCF came up with less than 3.8 secs? It's not in the press release McLaren issued along with that video.

The slide I included above is a screenshot direct from a McLaren presentation.

They didn't mention any figures at the launch (it's not very 'British'), but they did say that they are confident it beats its direct competitor (458) in every area. I personally think the 458 is prettier, but I don't doubt that the 12C will trump it when it comes to dynamics...

I think the engine is a little plain looking, but if it performs as expected, than I'll put up with how it looks.

I like the 458 more as well, just looks better and I dont say that the Mclaren looks bad but the colours used on the press car is not that great looking.

I really liked that blue colour,

btw They said the black/orange one behind it in this picture is going to Nardo to do a continuous 8 day 24h 150mph average test

Sounds like a real challenge for the car - hopefully they do some publicity of the effort when its done.

Did you take any photos while you were there by chance?
