It was - still totally breathtaking after all these years. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with for the 'new' F1...

Did you happen to see the Azure Blue 12C being finished up in the assembly area? I think that is the color I would choose from their assortment and I'm eager to see more images of it.

No, I'm afraid not - there was THREE F1's there, but only one 12C. They have taken some cars to Silverstone for the Grand Prix this weekend, so it might be worth keeping your eye out for an Azure Blue one there?

Just added this pic, as it looks great with the door up!

Thanks for the tip on Silverstone. Here's a decent shot of the blue one taken earlier this week by another visitor.

I'm still a sucker at heart for the F1. Always will be. That car is a classic, forever.

The new replacement isn't too shabby though.

^^ haha honestly - mclaren launch parties could have the worst new car ever, but they can always bring some F1s!

I hope this car is a major success because it will finally give Ferrari some competition with a company that derives a lot of R&D from its formula 1 division. I just wish that back were a tad prettier.

Also - that screen seems almost more like a touch screen computer than just nav??

What's wrong with the gauges of an RX-8? I used to own one and the gauges were very easy to read. Granted this is a car that is 200k more expensive.
