And to be true and proper, we should spell his name correctly. I used to get it wrong at first too - Frank Selldorff.
Also, there are photos in Doug's album taken the morning the car's ownership transferred from Frank to Ralph. It's not overt, and you have to know what you are looking at, but they are the ones that appear at the end of his album there - the last nine images on page 7, continuing onto page 8.
I mention this because the 'track damage' that occurred with Lauren's LM happened after the transaction was completed. The date the car changed hands was December 21st, 2004 and the accident was reported to have occurred 2 weeks prior to March 2nd, 2005. The accident happened during a trip to the McLaren service center in Montvale, NJ, while they were road testing the car before returning it to RL, which is standard practice for McLaren any time they do work on the cars.
Thankfully, as can be seen in more recent images, the car has been repaired by the factory and returned to its original top condition.

As mentioned on FChat - I may be the most vocal, but you, Chris and others keep me honest and on the right track; and also have great sources of info as well.
Don't discount the knowledge and experience you have with these great cars in any way sir.
Also, that F1 collection on your shelf will make quite a few people envious when you share the pics of them all together.
The only problem with you are these two things:

1. Don't tell anyone everything you know
2.

Yeah - I don't do "Favorites" - I usually just have the same group of websites listed in my URL dropdown in IE and bounce between them when I have the time.
Teamspeed had dropped out of the list as I hadn't been here in a week or so, and when I came back to borrow a piece of information I knew would be in one of my earlier posts, I was like - "No way, new McLaren F1 thread."
