the heart of this beast, looks like it's using turbo molded in the headers ala nissan GTR, maybe direct fuel injection since i can't see injectors on the manifolds.

i completely agree... this is really new and I LOVE the fact that they haven't gone too far with the styling... the f1 is unbelievable in that it still looks good today. The size is also very attractive to me... driving lambos and ferraris is great but they are just a little too large for my liking.

Obviously everything will hinge on how well this thing drives. the straight line performance, given weight and bhp should be great... but the rest... we shall see.

I DEFINITELY see myself in one of these.

I am ready to eat some negative words I have said about this car. After seing more pics, watching the video, I can say only one thing - I am in love. We need to wait for the first test drives and reviews, but I am sure that this car will not disappoint.

McLaren made a great job with pricing of this car as well. When every company now goes to crazy seven figure prices like Aston with its weird One-77 and so on, McLaren moved the oposite direction.

After this car launch I guess even Pagani need to launch something absolutely unique to justify the price tag.

 

This car will blow a lot of fresh air into the sports car section of today! Just read these news about the engine and I'm getting more and more stoked about it! The McLaren guys only delivers the best it seems.

 

I am a ferrari lover to the core but they will sell a fortune of these! Has alot to live up to the F1 but it will be a Mclaren and the badge alone will sell cars.

 

I can't believe the negative reaction to this car! I personally think its a beautiful design and maintains that "Mclaren" look. They could have chosen a better color to debut it in, but the technical aspects of this car are very impressive and I can't wait to see more of it.

 

the name doesn't roll off the tongue either.
