That is serously the saddest thing I have ever seen. After seeing my first McLaren in person last week, I cannot even imagine how devistated I would be

 

I wonder how long the warranty is on McLarens. Something tells me it's not quite 14 years.

 

But then it wouldn't have a clean Carfax report.

 

...which means Carmax would never take it as trade-in.

It didn't catch fire while it was in storage; it was in storage for six months and then the owner decided to take it out for a drive. During his drive, a passerby noticed some smoke coming from the rear and alerted the driver. Where there's smoke, there's fire, and the rest is history.

This will buff right out. The owner will send it back to McLaren where it will be repaired as good as new.

 

That is sad to see. My favorite car of all time. Did you guys read the comments on the article, and see what some hater wrote. I can't stand people that post nonsense like that.
