we keep hearin about how the center driving position in this car has contributed to its perfection, but i wonder how come no1 else attempted to imitate this?

 

Truly a great thread. Peloton, thanks for sharing all of your F1 knowledge with everyone, I've actually learned quite a bit just from your comments in this thread alone. Judging from your posts on another forum it seems like you are already aware of us, however I thought I would post up some pics for everyone else. (And perhaps in higher res for your own collection) We were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work on a few F1's including an LM, so I have quite a few pics. This one should do for now. Perhaps I will post some more later. Lets keep this thread going!

 

^ AI is a class act, if I ever decide to do some mods, the car is going straight there, took a tour of the shop and it's clean enough to do open heart surgery, the F1 is a beast, any comment on what it's like to drive in the middle of the car????

Hi Stan - thanks so much for your comments! I've definitely been to your website - it appears the quality of your work is well deserving of the trust the owners of those cars put in your hands.
