The guy is hardly a tool - as the interviewer notes in the beginning of the clip he's one of just two men credited with creating 3 companies with a valuation of more than 1-billion dollars each. He's a pioneering forward thinker who has already reshaped the way we exchange money and is changing the rules in the game of space travel. If the Tesla Model S proves its worth he may help usher forward a new wave of change in the auto industry as well.

He may not be the world's best driver though - I will give you that.
