Seller's Notes:
2006 Maserati Quattroporte Car has the 4.3 modena motor with F1 style transmission with fully auto mode and fully manual paddle shift mode, which makes it a lot of fun to drive. It has a special ferrari custom exhaust giving it the true sound of a Ferrari, has fully automatic adjustable seats with massage and heat and cool built in, fully adjustable automatic rear seats, navigation, 6 disc cd changer stereo, factory sport tune in the computer giving it more performance. Very low miles 34k, all service is done by Ferrari Maserati of Scottsdale. Very clean and absolutely no problems with the car, annual maintenance done 1 month ago with a receipt from dealer stating it has 75% clutch life remaining.

It's because its a Maserati. And this has the Duoselect transmission which is just horrible.

I dont get how cars of this caliber and price could have anything fail for that matter, let alone something as major as a transmission.

Errrr ... you won't find more reliable than a Civic or Corolla.

"Caliber" has nothing to do with reliability, quite the contrary.

And Duoselect or not, that's a LOT of car for less than 40k, it's ridiculous.

My point is, Seems like in a lot of cases in the car industry, unlike most other products based industries , the more money you pay for a product, the more it is unreliable.

Monetary speaking, I find it unconceivable that, Toyota can build a $20,000 Corolla that will last you years no problems, yet a $400k Lambo has a higher chance of breaking down.
