^^ Agreed. Only thing the interior needs would be more legroom room in the back. Besides that its great.

Maintenance costs* should be your biggest complaint. Only a rapide comes close to looks for any part of this car

I feel the maintenance on these cars really isn't that outlandish all things considered?

When I was at an internship at Maserati, da bawse told me it would be by the end of 2011 or the beginning of 2012. This is also what they told my friend's dad on the phone when he was doubting wheter he should wait for the new QP or buy the 7-series ActiveHybrid which he was testdriving at the moment.

I completely agree. The interior has a very cheap look and feel to it. I was extremely disappointed the first time I was in one, although I will admit that the exhaust note was intoxicating.

It has a decent layout on the inside, but there is so much plastic and not much use of any of the finer materials (leather, stitching, wood, aluminum, carbon fiber, etc.), on the dash or in the details. They could have done a MUCH nicer job on the interior of this car. I honestly don't think it's luxurious at all. You can get leather seats in just about any car these days; big deal.

Interior on the QP is vastly subpar. Fit and finish isnt fantstic. But it was Maseratis 1st attempt for a sedan.

Overall the car doesnt impress.

They've been making Quattroportes since 1964. It's more a case of, ehrm, traditional Italian quality. Journos say it's rapidly improving, though.
