It's an amazing vehicle, its the perfect balance between tame daily driver and a sports car when you need it. Seats 4 and comes with an amazing growl when you want to hear it.

Stunning car. And from what I here, a great DD as well.

I've got 3k miles under my belt with my '09 Maser GTS MC Shift. There are a few versions of the Maser GT available now, namely the standard Maser GT, the Maser GTS Auto and the '09 Maser GTS MC, which I have and is the most sporty.

If you search around, you'll find a thread by Control It in the Off Topic section in which I wrote extensively on the Maser GT. Overall, I will describe the car as a great combination of 4 seat daily driver with a sporty edge and Italian flair. It's a unique car and you don't see too many of them on the road. People come up to me and ask me about and take pics of the car all the time.

I really have no complaints about the car other than it can be a little quirky with the electronics. For example, the owner's manual states that the car will start up in the same tranny mode (auto or manual) and sport setting as when you turned the car off. But it rarely does this and seems to start off in whatever mode it happens to like at the moment. I have yet to figure out any rhyme or reason. There are a few other electronics quirks like that. Perhaps they add to the charm of owning an Italian car. But none of them are too troublesome.

I recommend getting the GTS over the GT, as the extra power and meaner exhaust add a whole additional level to this car. I think I would be disappointed with the standard GT as I like a sportier car.

The GTS has a ton of power and perhaps all the power you would really ever need in a daily driver GT car. I have heard that it is vastly underrated at 440hp and I believe it. It can be an easier car to drive fast than slow, but that may be a function of the Ferrari F1 gear box I have. The 2010 GTS Auto is supposed to be a dream to drive around town.

Perhaps the brakes could be larger, but they are fine. I might also lower the car with some sportier springs as others have done, but again, I like a sportier set up and it's not really necessary as there is little body roll and I haven't come close to pushing the limits of the car. I would describe the overall driving experience as like driving a much larger and heavier Ferrari 430 that seats four in considerably more luxury.

I considered getting a 2010 M5 or 2010 Merc E63 AMG when I was shopping. Overall, I am very happy that I went with the Maser.

Feel free to PM me with any specific questions.
