2014 BMW M5 Face-lift Spotted Again

We showed you last week spy shots of a face-lifted BMW M5 in black out for some testing, but today our spies catch this one bathed in a stunning deep metallic red finish out and about. Bimmerpost notes that the black m5 we spotted was fitted with a new competition package, which could explain the newly styled wheels that were affixed.

As we have reported, the 2014 BMW M5 will be receiving a Facelift together with the standard 5-Series. The refresh has already been partially revealed, but it’s been unknown how much of the M5’s design would be affected.

These spy photos show that the M5 will receive the same upper front fascia and headlight updates as the 5-Series, but will receive no changes to the lower front bumper design. Like the 5-Series, the M5 will also receive light updates to its tail lights and lower rear bumper.

The standard 5-Series Facelift will receive tweaks to its steering, but it’s not yet known if the M5 will be affected by this, or receive any other mechanical updates.
