Spied: BMW X6 Face-lift
A very minor nip/tuck for the oddly attractive X6

Our Teamspeed spies have managed to catch a face-lifted BMW X6 undergoing testing in snowy Europe this morning. Virtually production ready, the prototype seen here has a revised front fascia, new headlights and restyled taillights.

The petrol engines will likely carryover, but rumors suggest a new tri-turbo, (yes tri-turbo) 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel could be added to the lineup. It is expected to produce 350 PS (258 kW / 345 hp) to 400 PS (294 kW / 395 hp).

 

I'm still not a fan

Are those the lights or is something coverin the edges. Can't tell on iphone

 

it will have the same headlights shape, but they are just covering the edges

 

But what exactly is the point of a facelift, is it just changes made to a model mid-production? Because i see people only mentioning headlight, taillight, exhaust changes. Sorry i'm a n00b.
