Project Resurrection: BMW E36 ///M3
Hey fellow TSers!
I have been a member for a couple of years now, but never really shared any of my rides on the forum. I've been a huge ///M fan since I was 12 and was never really able to kick it out of my system. I also have a soft spot for Porsche 911s (all body types except for the 996) and the Ferrari 360 Modena.
I currently own an Audi Q7 as my daily driver - also have a Land Rover LR4 for the house - and an Alpine White with Milano Red leather E92 ///M3. And now, I have just added a Mugello Red 3.0 Euro-spec E36 to the family which I'd love to share with you all, especially since the car needs some TLC and will be a fun mild-resto project. Any mods are to be decided on at a later date.
The car has been parked for quite some time, but it's an all-original, never been modified E36 which is extremely hard to come by in Kuwait. I met the owner through 0-60 Motorsports - a famous member on TS - and the purchase of this car happened by chance. Soon, I will be posting some images of the detailed work the car needs (e.g. body, clutch, brakes, etc.) so please stay tuned.
Excuse the dirty state the car is in, haven't had time to give it a thorough cleaning. Enjoy!

Thanks Can, like I said before your project inspired me to get off my @$$ and make this happen! I will definitely be contacting you for advice.

Thanks man! Hopefully it'll be much sweeter once the work is done.
Restoration threads are the best; I'm so happy I can finally contribute. Can't wait to see what you're cooking!

Okay, so I may have jumped the gun here but I went ahead and ordered a customized M-Tech 2 steering wheel for the E36, even prior to actually receiving the keys to the car!
I saw the quality and worksmanship this one gentleman was able to produce on other steering wheels and I knew I wanted something special for my new baby. I had the wheel wrapped in Anthracite-colored Alcantara trim, applied ///M tri-color stitching and added a red-leathered 12 o'clock position strip. Thickness was also added to the rim as I didn't want such a drastic difference between the stock steering wheel which I have in my E92 M3 and the new car.
Hope you guys like the wheel and some detailed updates to follow soon regarding the condition of the car's paint.
