M5 or alpina b7 2013

My brother is looking for a new ride. I told him go with the M5. Any input is great.

Thanks

M5 is perfect! I just think he should wait a little longer because the first year batches always have problems!

I don't think your brother wants to buy a new car and take it in every time for recall works

Alpina. More unique and rides better than the M5 IMO. The signature blue and a white interior.

If he wants to go more aggressive they offer a really nice red.

Look at the motortrend comparo of the B7 and the S8. The S8 is even faster then the m5 and much more luxurious.

If you're throwing the S8 into the equation it's no comparison. You need to drive one to understand just what sort of a beast it is.

My dads just placed an order for one, he wants it as his daily driver. Couldn't have made a better choice.

Drove the S6, S7 and S8 a few weeks back at a media drive event in upstate New York. If they're at all on your list, I strongly recommend them—especially if you live somewhere it snows.

Personally, I preferred the S6 out of the group—it's extremely nimble, and it feels like it has a lot more than 420 horses—but if you need the extra space or want something with more presence, the S8 is really hard to beat.

I drove the S7 only and would probably get the S6 when in the market. But have heard other say that you really really feel the difference of the extra 100hp in the S8. What are your impressions on that?

different cars for different purposes. If your looking for a rocket-ship M5>S8>B7 but if your looking for a luxury liner B7>S8>M5
