^^ yeah and it completely destroys the alpina. funny thing is i was looking through some porsche dealership's used inventory online and i found an m5 with like 50 miles.

Crazy deal on an M5??? Dealers around here are bragging that they will sell it to you at sticker instead of tacking on 10 or 20k over sticker like some dealers are doing and getting from some fools. What kind of deal did you get for him?

I drive a b7 daily and owned the last generation s8. I was very interested in the new s8 and have driven it a bit. Very nice car but compared to the alpina or any BMW the s8 still does not handle as well. The s8 still has typical audi issues, under steer, numb brake feel as well as steering feel. I would still enjoy owning one, but the alpina is for sure more a drivers car vs the s8 a highway cruiser.

My short list came down to two cars: M5, S8. Drove both. M5, hands down.
