HEY ill you have to drive the m-dct trans verry impressive, shifts are seamless. NOT rough and slowshifting as the smg trans.

Are you talking about E46 or E92? E46 6MT was a little sloppy without the SSK. I thought the clutch was a little long and the throw of the shifts were also too long and sloppy through the changes. SSK made it feel just right.

I prefer an SMG over the 6MT because thats just me. To each their own and no need to debate the merits of either one. It's like religion - no one will win.

The new M3's don't excite me for some reason but congrats on your new ride. They didn't give me the same wow factor when the E46 M3's first came out. I love the stitching on your steering wheel though!

E46 M3 was a long throw stock, but after the UUC evo 3 SSK and then removal of clutch delay valve, it was AMAZINGLY perfect. E46 M3 with a few corrections is just a blast to drive, so fantastic. I use to BANG gears in my M3, no issues, not fragile by any means.

DCT i'm sure is cool, as well as egear and all of the rest I have driven. But they just aren't for me as my primary sports car or even fun car, my GT2 spoils me, my ex supercharged/stripped out M3 spoiled me, i'm a manual guy at heart and have no issues with it on the track!
