Panny is ugly.
Therefore M5.

I agree, and the M5 is by far a much sportier 4 door.

always been a huge M5 guy but this is a tough decision, I'd flip a coin

also, doesn't the Panny cost quite a bit more?

Thank you all so much.

A Pana costs 130.000€ (160.000$) new, and an M5 costs 100.000€ (123.000$) new.
After seeing today a Pana Turbo S with Sport Design Pack i fell in love. White with dark tint and 22" matte black wheels

Also the car will be used as a daily driver so this makes it a tough decision.

The price difference here is more. A fully loaded M5 is about 108k and a very well loaded PTT is 160k. There is an article in Car and Driver mag, and they compared the M5 vs E63 vs S6 and the M5 got last place. They had some serious critism of things that an M5 should be excelling at. Until I drive one, my thoughts are not positive about it.

Very surprising considering C&D favors BMW 99% of the time.

A tough decision indeed Teff but I think you've already got yoru mind made up. I suggest driving the 2 cars back to back along with a Panny GTS. According to a few members the Panny GTS is hands down a better (although a little slower) car compared to the Panny Turbo. Being a DD I don't know if the lesser hp for the better car would be that bad of a trade off.

Drive both.

Money no prob? Panamera Turbo.
Have to think about it? M5.

I haven't driven either, so ignore me.

Very tough choice. The new M5 is a very serious car. I toyed with the question of panny turbo or m6 back in 2010 and went with the m6 because of the v10. The turbo is simply stunning and drives much smaller than it is. The price at this level is a consideration but obviously if you are considering these cars and they do not break the bank drive them and make your choice. You can always get the other after a few years!! Good luck and enjoy!
