Now that the BMW Concept 4 Series has been unveiled, I felt it necessary to come on here and bring this thread back to life.

After seeing the new car, do any of you feel any different towards the new moniker? I think BMW may have actually convinced me... not 100% yet but I can see their reasoning behind it.

Love the new look of the coupe. Who cares what it's called, it will be awesome. Besides, the m3 isn't going away, it will just be offered as a 4-door only.

I'm close to agreeing with you fully; however, no M3 coupe any more? Really? I know it's just a name but so much equity and heritage has been pumped into the M3 name that it will be sad to think we will not see another "M3 CSL".

So glad they came through with such a striking design though... the M4 will be an instant hit with looks like that!
