New E90 Purchase w/ Pics
Traded in my '07 997. While I loved the Porsche, it was a DD and the compromises for me were getting old. So far I'm loving the far more technology laden cabin and creature comforts.
Silverstone over black, 6spd fully loaded.
The car seems as quick as either my C2 or previous C2S were. The steering feel of the M3 can't compare - just doesn't seem as connected to the road. The additional 1000 rpm is fun (haven't finished break-in, but from the demo I drove) so I prefer the engine on the M. I think the handling is more neutral (less understeer) than the P-car. The shifter isn't as good as the P-car but the clutch is better. I can take the turns on my daily drive at the same speed in all cars (I think the g's on the M exceed those of the P-car in testing which I can't really understand). The P-car brakes better but considering its weight the M does very well. The ride in the M in any mode (even the harshest sport setting) is far better than even my C2 on 18's. Fit and finish are comparable but the materials in the M are a bit better.

No extended leather. I saw cars with and without and didn't see the need.
Wheels are 18's. My 1st 997 had 19's and between the poor ride and higher risk of wheel tire/damage, I prefer 18's and will stick with them.
