cpconst is an unknown quantity at this point
I have a 2004 e46 m3 with 60k on the clock and the car absolutely screams. Got rid of my carrera for it two years ago and never looked back. Other than rear trailing arm bushings, lowering springs and a Porsche big break kit the car is stock. My advice to everyone that doesn't have one, Get one.

Yep...I will be in the market for an E46 or E39 M this year as well. Haven't come across anything that provides even close to the same bang for the buck.

I miss mine, and have been thinking of picking one up. With the engine issues addressed above, what else are the big "it" items on the car?

Rear subframe? Bushings? What about interior issues - one day I ended up locked in and had to go out the window - anything like that to worry about? I'd think electrical issues could get expensive...

Cheers to the e46 M3!

(my old one is in my signature)

^ I mentioned the big problems I am aware of, engine and otherwise. Never heard of electrical problems like you experienced, but not saying they don't happen. Weather stripping along the outter edges of the windows can go bad, but that's nothing in the big picture.

LMK what spec you are looking for and I will keep my eyes open for you.

Come to think of it, mine had the weather stripping issue.

I want a high-milage 6MT ZCP. Any color other phoenix yellow, red, and LSB. Black interior a must, cloth preferred.

^ Lucky for you, LSB and PY were discontinued from 04 (LSB for sure, I think PY also). And the ZCP package came in 05.. So you wont find an LSB or PY ZCP!

I would like a lower mileage 6MT+Nav+ZCP car, any neutral color (AW, SG, TIAG, CB) with Cinnamon or Imola interior.

Zing!
I love LSB. But I think PY sucks. Dakar, however, is hot - but was special order.

Most people hate PY. I loved mine.
