The new Sienna has a CD that you play while driving it. I scored a preview copy.

So is a turbocharged M car, but they did that too. Just another car to remove from the "would like to own" list.

Oh, quit yer whining. It's the car's own sound, not some artificial crap, so you can enjoy the engine noise and your neighbours won't be woken up everytime you drive off because you had to fit an open exhaust so you could hear your engine.
I'm fine with it.

You can also achieve the same in your living room playing GT. A real car doesn't need artificial crap (and that's what this is). A real man has a real car.

Except that in this case, you are in fact sat in the car. The real engine noise will be there as well. As will the g-forces, the feeling through the rim of the steering wheel. Identical single stimuli does not equal identical total experience.
I can see your point insofar that the system can seem a bit superflous, but it's simply not a deal-breaker for me.
"A real man"? Really?

I've never heard a V10 that didn't sound fantastic: even if it was the Ford unit in the truck, it was still just badass. The Viper/CGT/Gallardo/LFA, any of them just sound fantastic. The E60 M5 could have sounded brutal if they had wanted it to, but it was muzzled so much by the mufflers that it always sounded too tinny, but it still had that gorgeous, complex, warbly V10 howl.

You can't be serious.
