Just wanted to share, i bought a new (to me) toy. This is my first "properly" (hah) quick car.



Hood's gotta go. Ebruni, awful fitment, and the fibreglass is starting to crack. I may also need to do a valve adjustment right away, we'll see after my oil change tomorrow. (Which requires me to have a friend drive 300km to the closest bmw dealer to buy 10w60)

I'm pumped

Congrats! I had a 2000 M Roadster, i'm assuming yours is S54? Lose the hood and tail IMO.

I'm going to keep the spoiler. Its factory, and its functional, so despite me not really liking how it looks, i'm not going to make my car handle worse.


The hood is absolutely disgusting, but that's why i got this car for dirt cheap. I live in northern canada, (roughly 750miles north of billings, mt) so i'll wait to find a hood until i'm back on the east coast.

Ara, yeah, this is the s54 one. The s52 is a great motor, but it wouldn't have been a big enough bump in power over my modded m52. I think i'm going to keep the 328 and daily it.

Now i just gotta make lots sales so i can pay for all this stuff.

 

The spoiler may have been a dealer installed option, but it is certainly not factory. The car will handle just fine without it.

 

The car would handle fine without doors, too, but i think i'll keep those aswell.
