First of all congratulations on getting this beautiful Z3m. Second, I agree with you that the hood has got to go. Rear spoiler not that bad actually and if you like it, keep it. As for modding, try to keep it simple as it doesn't need much.

On a positive note about someone other than dana winning, it turns out that spoiler is authentic racing dynamics, i've put it up on bimmerforums and already have some interest! Mabye that will pay for the eventual respray.

I like the car. But you should consider getting rid of that hood and that wing. And those doors are pretty ugly. To be honest, those wheels are pretty sucky too. Have you thought about an engine swap? And a new color? I think they look great in black. Do you know there are aftermarket tail lights that look pretty cool? You should also get a nice trunk now that you have those terrible holes in it. And tint those windows maybe 15%, and maybe pick up a nice sticker for the rear window that says, like, "I'm here to party" or something cool like that.
And maybe later you can do some suspension mods on it that makes it go lower and corner better. Also, you should get an aftermarket sway bar to really make it corner better. Have you seen those aftermarket angel eye LED things? If you don't have those you should get them.
You know, the throws on that gearbox is really awful. Have you looked into getting a short shifter? And while you're at it, maybe get a better gearbox too. You should also maybe fit GT3 seats in it, assuming they fit. If they don't, you should cut up parts of the car so that they do. And maybe get a set of sports pedals.
