Touche... Thank you captain obvious!

True enough. I was just curious if there was something somewhere that was in an article format. My wife saw this thing when we were in looking at the M3Sedan. I'd prefer that she got one of these when I pick up my M, as opposed to going and getting one of the new caddies...

Great car

Its a great car. and extremely fast. But as everyone has already stated it is to close to the 335. But still a great car.

It's an odd car IMO, i've seen it in person at BH BMW and thought it was uninspiring.

I guess it was designed to take away sales from small hatchbacks like the A3, VW Golf etc but i don't see any point to it when it's so close in price to the 3 series and doesn't look as good nor have a decent amount of cargo capacity.

I am not sure if I would include it in the list of cars to choose from when looking at a 3series, the 1series is too goofy looking and small as if it was a toy car and something enlarged from a hotwheels set.

I would get a 335ci without hesitation, its a great car with a nice size that isnt too big or too small.

the reason I ask is because I truly do not understand the car. I can't figure out what they were thinking or who would buy it?

I'm with you...there must be a market for it or they wouldn't have pushed it through though.

seems like it's either 10k too expensive, too plain looking in and out, or it needs a gimmic of some sort

I think it's main demographic is for women that don't want a VW EOS and the like...

I think it's an odd car too. Probably to compete with the small VW's like Josh has said. I think you'd lose too much money on resale considering how overpriced it is.
