To ESS the M3 or not?

I've been losing sleep at nights about this

My head is saying no, but my heart is saying yes. I sound like a damn song writer

Despite all the good things I have been hearing about the kit, I still have this thorn in my head that should something go wrong. It will take far longer to resolve than via BMW. Also if I were to proceed with this, I would be on my own as my warranty would go out the window.

Ideally, I should wait until the warranty/motorplan is up.

There is also the hassle of sending the ECU to the States to get tuned etc. Just sounds like a long ordeal given my location.

Interested to hear everybody's pro's and con's for this decision?

PS. I blame you Nate@IND

Yes and its not a problem, as I think IND offers it so you deal with them directly. I've sent my ecu abroad, no problem what so ever. I think the ESS S/C is the icing on the cake as modifications go for your car, what would also look great if you get a roll cage in the same exterior color as well.

Don't do it. The M3 is perfect as is.

I vote "no", at least until your warranty is up.

I have the same problem - location. If I had easy access to ESS and the such, then I would go for it. If something goes wrong, where do you start to fix it? It's just a headache. Enjoy the M3 as it is, you have a GT2RS on the way which should satisfy your need for speed

Wait until warranty is up at least... It's not like you need a fast car!

ESS is one of the most reliable companies out there! Dont worry about it if you really want. Go for it.
