HOLY SMOKES!!! im so excited!!! |
boner... |
I'm VERY interested in this car. For some reason, really like the "size" of the 1 Series, but I just couldn't see owning one. Now... assuming that BMW keeps consistent with stupid fast sedans, a juicy engine in a car this size just might be the one that pulls me off the fence. |
has the Inka Orange color been confirmed? If so, I am just going to have to buy one. |
^ You and your flashy colors. |
whats it powered by? |
This thing will fly by me at Harris Hill Road |
Definitly interested in the details and price point. BMW needs a hitter besides the M3. |
Wonder if they fixed the cutesy lower side swoop that ruins the styling of the 1. I like the size as well, this could be an awesome urban DD. |
The car looks small and it actually has comfortable back seats, we took a roadtrip in a 125i last year around France, its neat and a quality product. |
LOVE it!!!! |

yeah, I like the idea of it and I['m sure it will drive great, but I just don't see myself owning one. It's just too small..like a matchbox version of my 335. Anyone know which engine is going in it? |
The 1M in the vid may be a new metallic orange by BMW. I've heard rumors of Phoenix Yellow, and Power Green as well. Inca Orange all the way!! I would love to own this for my next car. Roots of the 1M. http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/a..._smpqfkjpg.jpg |

are you sure? i think the new 1er M Coupe will be powered by the N54 engine like the 335is and Z4 sDrive35is. |
About time they introduced a proper little racer. I sincerely hope they keep the weight WAY down. Seems like they opened the old family album again and started looking at what once made BMW M cars what they are today ..... and realized that the answer does not lie in pointless X6/5M SUVs. |

My hope is that, stock for stock, it significantly outperforms the 135i, otherwise it'd be a waste of money. |

My hope is that, stock for stock, it significantly outperforms the 135i, otherwise it'd be a waste of money. and those who say it makes no sense since you can tune a 135i easily to 400hp simply don`t realize that a) with the 1 M you get a very very solid base for modding it furhter b) the suspension setup, chassis rigidness, steering etc and the work of the //M engineers will pay c) the internals will be way stronger than those on the 135i ,so durability - even when heavily modded >400 hp - will be no issue anymore d) BMWs hp numbers are always very conservative.. I`m thinking about changing my car for another one for quite some time now.. I have test driven the new M3 and the Cayman S...both very cool cars and while the Cayman lacked the power to keep up with the Emmy,it`s midengine and suspension setup just made up for anything because it was such a pleasure to feel and drive it around the backroads. Great in just about every aspect, except the engine. now that the 1er M is about to come I guess I`ll wait and hope that this car will offer the right power and a lightweight sportscar handling and feeling But I hope they will change the engine mapping for better throttle response and a better sound...like changing the ignition times/intervals and all that |
