Who Misses Their Old M????

I guess I'll divert from the pack. I'm happy I don't have mine anymore. I never had a car with so many problems. It was at the dealer 19 times in 8000 miles. It was a 2003. Stupid little problems. Most of the time, I was in a loaner 325. I paid for an M car, and drove around in a 325 most of the time. When it was fine, it was fun, but the headaches ruined the experience for me.

I have an E36 M3 now and love the simplicity and handling - for what I do, I don't see the need for more power. I can easily stay with pretty much any other road car in the twisties around here. I do like the luxury of the E46, so a comp package 05 may be next on the list once the company gets going (which better be soon
).

Car was sick though, and in the end it was worth it, was a beast!

For some reason, I can't seem to get rid of mine. I guess I am a masochist at heart.
Here it is with one of the many sets of wheels I've had for it...

Here is an older photo of it on BBS LMs. This was the first set of BBS LMs sold in the US for an M3 and likely any BMW for that matter.

Forced induction can be a massive headache. I have had numerous setups on this car, and with each incarnation, the headaches seem to get bigger.
Here is a dyno of the current setup...

This is with a GT40R turbo and on pump fuel only with no other power adders. There is still quite a bit more power to go, but 633rwhp is well past what this chassis can truely take. It makes for some interesting driving.
