i love E30 M3s... so much that i actually want one. but prices for the clean example aren't that cheap sadly for me to actually buy one

E30 M3's in good enough enthusiast conditions are about 30K.

Rebuilding an S14 can be measured in units of 5K.

Lots of parts are NLA and can be had for obscene amount of money.

It is not for the faint of the wallet.
