The 'Auto start / stop' is standard on the Porsche Panamera. And NO one uses it.

It's a little bizarre to have your 4.8L V8 shut down at a stop light. But you will retain all power and climate control; and if it's anything like the Porsche system, the sun , moon and stars need to be aligned properly for it to work.

Also the panny recieved a larger starter motor and electric oiler so when the car is sitting stationary it's nice and lubed for it to run.
