Used E92 M3 Pricing Help
#12
A bit overpriced.
Used Cars for Sale: Listings Near 02818 - Cars.com
Here is a red one with 10k miles going for around 44.
2008 BMW M3, $44,880 - Cars.com
When I was looking at these cars not too long ago I was blown away by how inexpensive (relatively speaking) they had become. They are all over the place now so you really have your pick and the prices have been plummeting. I would not pay more than 41-42 for a car with less than 15k miles. The prices that you are seeing are a bit inflated IMO.

Don't know. I am paralyzed by choice.
This would be my 4th M3 (two E36 M3 and one E46 M3) if I do get one, which I think is a little nuts for someone who really is a general car guy rather than an M3 fanboi.

Before we bought our S4 Avant, we were looking hard for a red/beige/NAV M3 sedan that BMW was trying to give away back in late 08, couldn't find one.

It's not a reliability issue I asure you. As I've mentioned before, mine has covered 26k as my DD and primary track car, without batting an eye. I love this car, but it is time to transfer primary track day duties to something else. I got some good news last week, we'll see what happens
I know the RS4 is a great car. In fact, prior to my M cars I was a divout Audi fan with my B5 S4 and was set to move on to the B7 RS4. However, living in a climate that allows me to drive RWD year round the M3 won out big time. It helped that I DD'd an e39 M5 prior to deciding on an e92M, but trust me, for a long time the RS4 was the top of the list. In the end, the M3 was just more fun. Regardless, if you decide on an RS4, you're still getting a phenomenal performace saloon!!

yeah plus I figured your last M3/Savage ordeal sort of ruined the whole M car experience for you. Why not consider jumping back into a CPO E46? They are relatively pricey but to my mind at least the E46 is more 'classic' M3 than the E90/92. Or do you need four doors no question?
