Whats the Deal with 06 M3 ZCP (Comp Pkg) Cars??!!

I've been on the hunt for an 06 M3 ZCP Car - Pref. 6 spd. I've been searching and searching, and would like to buy a CPO'd one - but it seems like dealers are asking CRAZY prices for this car - almost as much as some 08's I've been looking at!!! What kind of prices should I be willing to pay, I really dont want to spend a penny over 35-36k OTD w/ warranty. Check out these cars below -

SMG Car - 2006 BMW M3 Coupe in Riverside, CA

SMG Car - 2006 BMW M3 Coupe in Santa Ana, CA

6 Speed - My Favorite Choice but the most $$ (Crazy Money) and Out of State - 2006 BMW M3 Coupe in Huntington Station, NY

And the Cheapest 6 speed, just dont want RED - 2006 BMW M3 Coupe in Henderson, NV

There are a few more - but these are my top 4, they just seem CRAZY over priced. I'm on the hunt so if anyone knows of any good prospects, please let me know!!!

Bryant

Bryant, too bad you didn't tell me about this a month ago. A friend of mine sold her black 06 for around $34K - it was in great condition too. Your best bet is to keep checking Roundel magazine, and the classifieds section on BMWCCA website. You can usually trust the hardcore enthusiasts there. This model demands a premium with low miles...Good luck.

Here's one option - Modded M3 that will turn a lot of heads: FS: Very Unique 2005 E46 Dinan S3-R M3 Track/Show Ready - M3 Forum 2010 2009 BMW M3 2008 BMW M3 BMW E90 M3 E92

Thanks for the heads up... The one you linked to is pretty bad ass, just a bit high in the mileage...

Ok, its official... I cannot FIND an M3 Comp Pkg car for the life of me!!! The Cts-V goes back on the 11th, and there is not a single prospect car out there!!! I might just have to go the 2010 335i M Sport route....

What's your budget? E90 and E92 M3's are not that pricey.

Some what both... I found a great car - 06, 6 speed, 8k miles!!! Went to go jump on it... SOLD!!! Everything out there right now is either an SMG, or they are asking CRAZY money for the car (40k+). Within 200 miles of me there is only 2 ZCP cars, and they are both SMG. Hopefully something else becomes available between now and the 11th.

I would love to pick this up - http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false but its a Private Party car, out of state, and I need to arrange financing.

Trying to stay below 40k. But I'm financing or leasing depending on what happens. Trying to keep my payment below $700, and have about $2k to put down... I've been looking for some 08+ M3's but most are out of my price range... I've found a few lease transfers that were interesting, but received no response from the seller.
