I have leaarned to respect those 335/135 quite alot, we did some highway pulls with a BMS (75%) chipped 135 vs. e92 M3 and C63, and that little bastard was hanging on there the whole time!

ProspectM is an unknown quantity at this point
The 335i with a JB3 (with supporting intake/exhaust mods) makes 400rwhp if not more. The E92 also weighs 500lbs less than the E60M5 which makes the same amount of power to the wheels.

NICE! Love the M5, the 335i is nice but i prefer the 135i. The only thing is in our horrible HOT weather the BMW turbo cars suffer from a lot of heat soak, an intercooler upgrade is a must! That is the first upgrade i made on a friends car when he bought it a few months ago

Where is CoB?

I`ve not seen him posting for quite a while now..

btw,
the problem with the 335i is that it is not designed for high performance..
you have to add a lot of mods to get it to a point where you can get high hp outputs and not damage anything..
the non M-sport stock suspension sucks as well

a 400whp 135i with FMIC,Oil cooler, LSD,anti roll bars, racing coils and springs,Cup tires and no rear seats should be a great toy

and you`d have a lot of fun modding the thing instead of just buying a M3 or similar.

But comparing a 335 to a M5 is nuts.....
but I`d rather have a blown M3 or 997 C2S than a stock M5 for obvious reasons

M5's like to move from 100 up.. No problem pulling 190mph on GPS.. While the 335 is a fun little car it has nothing on an e60 at highway speeds.. Modded or not..

Hey guys, I've been away for the past week!

I was in the UK and got my ECU custom mapped as well by A-LTuning which are a division of CA Automotive!

Will re-install the ECU back into the car and run it a few miles and hopefully dyno it again!

On stock map, I got 439whp on 95Octane fuel. I'm gonna do another run on 99Octane with the new map and see what I get!

I'm targeting 465 or 470whp... and with the M5's 20% drive loss, that should be hitting me close to the 570 Crank HP. Fingers crossed!

I will then go back and take this 335 on from a dig in P400 mode! I know I can take him no problem! However.. I refuse to use Launch Control... so it's on in the feet baby!

Thanks guys... the map is really kicking in right now! It took about 3 fuel cycles for the performance to reach optimum!
