Great looking e90 there. Very classy and judging by your write-up pretty entertaining on the track too. Drive it hard but safe.

 

OK sweet, wasn't talking directly to you as someone else asked a question concerning bbk options for the current M3s.

 

That Z06 driver must have really been really light-footing it around the track. Nothing against the E92 M3, which is an incredible handling and powerful car, but.....as a benchmark, a stock Z06 goes around the Top Gear track in 1:22.4, which is even faster than the F430, and right in line with some of the fastest track-oriented street cars out there (the GT3 RS did 1:22.3). The E92 M3 did 1:25.3 which is still a great time.

A stock Z06 has 505 hp and weighs something like 3,100 lbs. If that car was stripped out it must have had the weight down to 2,800-ish lbs. Add some slicks to that mix and you have one bad-ass track day car that if driven properly could lay waste to just about anything street legal.

Kudos to you on your driving ability as well as taking your car out and having fun with it. Imagine what you could have done at the wheel of that Z06.

 

OP corrected himself and mentioned it was a C5/Z06 - for all we know it could have been the 385hp version

 

How about a clear bra being included with those next set of mods
