Thumbs up *NEW* ACS racing suspension for E9X M3

AC Schnitzer now offers a full racing suspension for the new E90/92/93 M3. The suspension is height adjustable as well as 20 position dampening adjustable. The bound and rebound are set via an adjustment knob at the lower end of the spring strut and dampener. This system has "upside-down" construction, which means that the piston rod does not point up towards the top fixing point, but downwards towards the wheel mounting. The advantages are that the heavier components are attached to the bodywork and the lighter ones to the suspension. This reduces the unsprung mass to the suspension components and provides a more precise steering behavior. It also significantly improves traction and braking response which will significantly reduce lap times. On the street the suspension can absorb uneven road surfaces very efficiently, and is extremely robust and ensures a long useful life. For those with EDC, a module is also available to eliminate this function and will prevent any faults. This proves that this technology can be successfully transferred from motorsports to the road.

Why lower it then ruin it with those god awful wheels, probably negating the handling on account of their weight?

Thanks DJ! The handling is superb. Very predictable and comfortable. This suspension offers a full range of adjust ability. Perfect street performance and then, click, click and you are ready for the track.

Hello vtgts300kw,

Welcome to the world of BMW tuning.

These wheels are forged aluminum and only weigh 24 lbs for the 9" x 20" front and 25.5 lbs for the 10" x 20" rear. They have a much wider track and are perfectly matched for this suspension. This is of course a street set up. We also offer 18" sizes for track use.
