Price shopping
Guys,
I was curious about the pricings of 2009 or newer Sunseeker Predator 64, Riva 68 Ego and Pershing 64. What are they going for nowadays? I'm considering one of those with low engine hours.
Also can anyone comment the differences of those boats?
Any other models you might recommend?
Thanks,
Salih

Good luck finding a used Predator 64 with low engine hours. Its only been out for a year.
Anyways, the Predator costs around the 2Mil Euro mark. The Pershing and the 68 Ego cost substantially less at around the 1.3 - 2.0Mil Euro mark, depending on age and engine hours of course.
To be honest, I don't know which one I'd pick. The problem with the two Italians is that they've compromised so much for interior space in their design and that their prices have plummeted. For example, storage for equipment and dingy in the Pershing 64 is less than in the 62, fuel capacity and range have decreased, decks are narrow to almost impossible to walk on the electronics have become way too complex for an Italian-built -mass production- yacht.
I have no experience with the Riva.
The Sunseeker brand on the other hand, while British is also known for its faults. However, since the 64 is a relatively new model this may not be a problem. Yet, once again i have no experience with this.
If you're looking at yachts in this price range I'd also opt to look at Fairline. All round good yachts.

How would you compare Riva 68 vs Pershing 64? I found 2 deals, Riva is 100k euros more.
I like the Riva 68 a little better, but I would like to jump to Pershing 80 or 90 in next 2 years and if I buy the Pershing now, I will have the chance to trade my 64 in with a good price. So it's a dilemma for me.
Any experts to chime in?
