Gotta love the guy just for his sense of adventure. I could just imagine being there when he decided to embark on this.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this was a Steve Fossett design that was 2 months away from being taken to the bottom of the ocean before he passed away. It seems that I have been waiting for about 5 years for this to be finally taken out and tested. I was so close then, cant wait!!

Deep ocean exploration if definitely one of the most important things to be done as far as science goes... Props to him for taking forth the risk and DOING IT. He's a modern day Howard Hughes (minus the creepy weird recluse shit).
