More like they can't, at least without a major investment in manpower and R&D. All of the engineers at Toyota who could develop anything the naughty side of a Pruis left a very long time ago.

I've been saying all along it would be a travesty. When you're (or were) the small performance engine manufacturer who everyone and their sister buys their engines from, and you outsource engine development because you can no longer build one competently, it is not going to end well.

they would rather spend money making a car that fits in no where :lfa: and that they can't even sell all of them. toyota has some real boneheads around there don't they....this thing looks like an updated celica i.e. ball less wonder..
