when you have nothing to lose

Wow... sleazy marketing....Absolutely no accountable dynamics of total testing for reliability, endurance.
LOL...Constant one lap testing proves what?
When you don't have history of performance and the stature of brilliant tech like Porsche Nissan have nothing to lose and will try any marketing strategy to enter that realm.Another wannabe.
Flash in the pan tech will win over for a short period and win over portions of people and newbie's with money.

Food for thought: put both cars in the 24 LeMan's/Seebring.Who will be there in the end? Will the Nissan even finish.

Take Honda, how many years in F1 and nothing to show as constant reliability problems, their no longer there.Flash Tech literally in the oil pan.
LOL,you can't take something mechanical and put in to hyper-rev 24/7 and expect reliability. That is the Japanese tech.

Most Japanese products don't engineer/invent anything, they research, steal, modify and mass market through slave labour.
I have owned 240z,Pathfinder,Sentra and numerous Porsche's including an existing 07 Boxster S.

Honestly, it is a complete turn-off to me when a car company takes a stab at another to make their car look good. Audi has been the worst in the past two years. It is the main reason I simply wont consider an Audi. I realize it is light-hearted, but it reminds me of grimey politicians who can only look good if they are bashing someone else.

If the car is so great it should be able to stand alone.

ZR-1 is a great car for the coin. But on the ring, the best time set by a ZR1 is 7:26.4 in dry conditions, while the Nissan-GTRs best time is 7:24.22 in semi-wet conditions.

So ZR1 eating GTR in every way doesn't stand up.

I'm a dummy IIVVX.

I'm a dummy IIVVX.
LOL
Maybe you can explain to us dummies how Honda was able to take any motor displacement in their Civic model line and state increase horsepower 30-40 hp higher then same size previous model displacement without any newer tech in that existing motor.

I'll give you a hint, they lobbied the Automotive Industry.

I know I'm idiot but why is the 350/370 a direct clone of Porsche Boxster and RTS a clone of another Porsche???
