Another reminder that anything can happen, no matter who you are and what you drive.

Both cars took the impact quite well. LFA was smashed in front but so did the BMW 3 series. Hard to believe that the driver died.

I will stick to buying alum or steel cars. I have seen too many CF cars end up in fatality. So scary.

always the same ... coming off the Ring, driving like you are still on it ... you can do that right there on the Autobahn going buy, just keep it down on country roads ... if you are "veering" into oncoming traffic you are going faster on narrow German backroads than anywhere allowed on broad highways in the US.

very sad news and I hate to say it, but having it happen in a spy car no less.

praying for his family, just sucks losing someone that way.

From the video, it looks like a survivable crash, the cockpit was still completly intact.

Either he wasn't wearing his seat belt, or he was wearing a harness with no neck restraint?
