Lexus LFA sold out

I am not impressed. It does have good statistics, and it does sound nice. It just doesn't have the emotion that I think car guys are looking for. And what an idiot, compairing it to a rare watch saying only an aficionado will know what it is. Hey IDIOT, your car has the scoops and vents true to rice racer form, and sounds like an F1 car; I think people will know it is expensive. What a moron.

:friendlykick Yup, FAIL. I would buy a, Ummm GT2, CGT, CLK Black, GT3RS, 2001 Turbo, a 997 Turbo S, Scud, maybe a new kitten? And some yarn?
I don't think the "hand-picked" requirements were that tough, other than the ability to pony up. I know a local doctor here who has been approved. He's a car guy, but he's no rock star, nor is he one of the wealthiest guys in our small town. He just agreed to pay.
Personally, I don't get it. But whatever. I'm sure it'll be a cool car. But I don't dig the styling, and there's lots of ways I would rather spend the cash.

After initial distaste, I think I would buy an LFA. You have to figure that anyone who could afford an LFA would already have the prerequisite Ferraris, Porsches, etc. It's probably incredibly well-made, looks interesting, would be very rare... I like it.
