Stumbled across this concept on Autocar which is supposed to go inte production by 2012. I think it looks pretty cool and apparently the weight will only be around 1250kg (2756 lbs) which is even significantly less than a 430 Scuderia. The transmission is likely to be a six-speed manual and the chassis will be conventional rear-wheel drive. It will use Subaru's 2,0l boxer engine and be prized around 20.000$ in the US.
Another distinguishing feature will be its interior, and in particular its dashboard, which may even include software that provides data acquisition for a host of race circuits.

So its gonna be a 260hp-ish (turbo, tuneable) rwd 6-speed for 20k? I don't see how that can be bad, but really at that price?

 

this car is like GT5, we've heard a ton about it, but it will never see the light.

it's already slated for production according to toyota. should sound good with that boxer engine. after hyundai released the genesis coupe you knew it would get competitors sooner or later.
