But my M3 is better than an R8, duh. I read it on M3Post, it has to be true!

How much are they going for in the UK? Judging by the cars you've had I think it would be a good one to pick up. I've never driven one, but I've sat shotgun around a track and the performance is literally unbelievable. That being said, I think driver involvement may be higher in other sports cars, but like I said, I have yet to drive one.

Besides straightline speed i'd have to agree Over the past 2 months, i've really fallen out of love with the R8.

I have to say, that without a doubt, the GT-R/Japanese import community is the worst I've ever encountered. I could see someone passing up this awesome car for that reason alone. It is THAT bad.
I take exception to your comments, as I did with your first post. I was one of the first owners in the US to take delivery of the GT-R and the car has exceeded my expectations. Is it perfect, no; nor do I believe it is the best car in my garage, or in the world. Moreover, I have several good friends who own the car -- including several members on the forum on NAGTROC. We are far from being cheerleaders. (And if you believe my IQ is at doormat level, then how do you explain this dumb ass (and my dumb ass friends who own the car) being such a success. Damn, they must just give money away to the stupid.)

Plain and simple, the GT-R, like any car, presents a different driving experience, unique.

But please don't create a negative stereotype -- in this case owners of the GT-R -- based on some select fanboy feeble postings on a forum. I bet dollar for dollar I can find similar fan boy posts for any car out there.

The GT-R, the P-Car Turbo, the Lambo, the Ferrari -- all different cars to meet the different needs of a particular owner; don't knock all owners of the cars based the stupidity of a few.

I don't know where this is coming from, as I have been actively trying to seek out other GT-R owners here that have a stable head on their shoulders. I didn't group everyone in together. You are the one making generalizations, and I don't know why you feel so threatened amongst a group of of really good people here. I own the car, and rather enjoy it for what it is, and have not knocked it at all in this thread other than state my impressions of it. As I recall, you were brutally flamed on Nagtroc for one of your posts as everyone thought you were an elitist. It is shocking that you would now embrace those people.

I don't understand why you see what I wrote as an attack. You shouldn't. If you think owning a GT-R is a sign of success, than by all means reach back and pat yourself on the back. It is just a car.

Thank you for personalizing your attack on this one. I DO NOT think owning any material item is a measure of success -- where do I say that; what I did say is that by any objective standard I have achieved a level of success that requires an IQ higher than a door matt; and that would be rather difficult if I lacked intelligence; then again, a lot people (maybe you are one of them) believe the members of my profession are retarded . Yes, I was flamed -- did you read what I posted; did you read my rebuttal accepting responsibility. Enough said and I am over it.

Glad you like your car.

You quite obviously are not. Get over yourself. Not every comment someone makes is directed at you.

Josh wasn't saying everyone on that forum is stupid or anything like that. He was just agreeing with what I said in an earlier post that most GTR owners are cocky, arrogant losers who think their GTR is king of the road. Neither Josh nor I were directing an attack at all GTR owners or at any particular GTR owners and I don't see why you took offense to Josh's post.

If you had read the whole thread you would have seen that I made the same type of comments about G37S Owners and someone else compared the stereotype to people on BMW forums.

There's no reason to be acccusing people of flaming you or anything like that.
