Can't believe I missed this thread, quite the shock I must say. Josh in a GT-R, who would've thought.

And that driveway is something else!

Since this thread, I have fitted the car with a set of BBS LMs and a Harman mid-pipe. I am still kicking around the idea of doing a suspension, but do not want to sacrifice the ability to drive the car every day if I wanted to.

I need to take some pictures, which I will do soon.

For what it is, the car has been great so far. It is certainly no replacement for any of my Porsches, but it makes a fine addition to the collection.

After having driven that car extensively, I think it is very stiff from the factory even on comfort mode. I wouldn't touch the suspension as it handles extremely well and anything more aggressive would be just too much for the road.

Thanks Josh, it sounds good. Looking forward to seeing pics! So as a daily you think it's pretty solid?

I actually don't agree. I think the ride is fine, especially considering what it is capable of. My biggest concern is ground clearance. I think the car could benefit from some level of suspension upgrade as it does tend to show its weight when pushed hard through back roads.

I think depending on your requirements it is perfectly fine as a daily. I bought it so I had something fun to drive when road conditions were not appropriate for my other cars. It suits that purpose very well.

I think you guys are really on the same page, the suspension is very firm but works very well for the car. I've also come from a GT2 to a GT-R and fairly amazed that it can do what it does given it's specs(weight, power, size). Stock, it's certainly not an all day track car like Porsche's GT cars but more of a time-attack car. It has the amazing ability to go into and out of corners faster than it should and gets up to speed very quickly with it's fast-spool turbos. It may not have the terminal velocity of my modded GT2 but the package allows it to compensate by spending more time at speed. At 2kmiles so far, I'm also fairly impressed with it as a DD.
