A little update.

I've posted some other threads on here so I figured I'd post another in case anyone on here is interested in following the car....

Anyways, I've done a few things to the car over the winter but never made a post officially detailing whats been done. I cleaned the car up before I put the rest of the decals on the car so here's a few photos of the new parts and the car as a whole. Thanks to all the guys at AMS for helping to get the car all buttoned up over the winter, it came out great! In it's debut at Buttonwillow for the Redline Time Attack! Season Opener, we won the Modified AWD Class and the Overall Class Championship! (Thread here: http://forums.evolutionm.net/m....html)

Also, can anyone spot the carbon fiber doors, hood or trunk? Nope, cuz it's painted like it's should be haha! The car now weighs 2,745lbs...about 800lbs. lighter than stock. And once I have the full Aero package on the car, I'll post more pictures! (Hint: Voltex & some serious AMS Carbon/Kevlar underneath the car)

Car:

AMS Carbon/Kevlar Roof:

AMS Wickerbill:

JRZ Triple Adjustable Race dampers:

Tial BOV/Engine bay:

AMS Ti Exhaust:

TE37's w/ 275/35/18 Nitto NT01's (with custom decal ):

And the car all decal'd up for a shoot for Modified:

Any questions....as always just ask.

Ryan

Wow! I confess, I haven't really paid much attention to the Evo X much up to this point, but that is a great-looking car with some great work done to it.

Wow thats awesome! I am seriously considering one of these cars next--only 9 months left on my lease. The headroom for tuning is a serious plus and cars like this show what can be done. Thumbs up.

I'd recommend it for sure...we made over 400whp on the stock turbo and much more now with a bolt-on stock-framed turbo. The 4B11T LOVES to make power. It's been a great car, love it!

Thanks for all the good words guys!

Looks sweet... I'm a former Evo owner, so I definitely have a lot of love for the X.

Check your strut tower brace - it looks like it's missing a bolt between the reservoirs where it connects to the firewall.

I got it, just couldn't find it until later in the day. Good eye though
