It wasn't just this - it was a series of errors:

1) They should have sold it through Infiniti. Great customer service, expectancy to pay that tariff, etc. It worked for Acura with the NSX.

2) Markups. $40K over? For a Japanese car? Enough said.

3) Dyno lies, Nurburgring lies, etc.

4) Transmission issues.

It goes on and on... What a shame - I was so excited about this car, too.

The potential this car had was INCREDIBLE. All previous GTRs have been practically indestructible (motor + tranny).

Nissan needs to step up and take responsibility for a weak tranny...
